Ignitas to advise AnsuR Technologies

Ignitas is today announcing that we have been appointed as advisors to AnsuR Technologies, a Norwegian company founded by previous activities from NERA. AnsuR is led by DR. Harald Skinnemoen, former Chief Scientist at NERA. AnsuR provides systems design and key technology development for major bodies such as Inmarsat, ESA and the EU Commission. One of the key solutions developed by AnsuR is a solution enabling high quality images to be geo-tagged and seamlessly distributed from remote locations to any location in the world using real-time satellite communication. Ignitas will assist AnsuR with strategic advice, commercialisation, distribution and business development. Torkel Johannessen of Ignitas will also join AnsuR’s board. Ignitas har blitt oppnevnt som rådgivere for AnsuR Technologies, et IT-Fornebu basert selskap med tidligere personell fra NERA. AnsuR blir ledet av Dr. Harald Skinnemoen, tidligere sjefsforsker hos NERA. AnsuR utvikler teknologi og softwareapplikasjoner som gjør det mulig å sende ut visuell informasjon, samt data om eksakt plassering på kloden til mange personer globalt, samtidig og i sanntid. Løsningen benytter satellitter til både innsamling og distribusjon av informasjon og data, og vil særlig ha relevans i kritiske situasjoner knyttet til nødhjelp, telemedisin, katastrofehåndtering, overvåkning, sikkerhet og fredsbevarende operasjoner. Ignitas vil bistå med rådgiving i forbindelse med strategiutvikling og kommersialisering, og Ignitas’ Torkel Johannessen vil også delta i styret til AnsuR.
